Atmospheric synth pop duo "Kingdom" was formed in Sydney in 2013.

A chance meeting between old friends Baulch & Milne led to a collaboration which saw their musical backgrounds combine and gave birth to the moody soundscapes and engaging melodies they have become known for.

Kingdom’s sound is drawn from two conflicting genres, combining their strengths to result in a hauntingly resonating body of work.

Baulch’s previous work could be described as "haunted folk". His low brooding vocals and romantically tragic lyrics have a dark reflective nature, his lyrics poignant yet almost casually cruel.

He has toured his original work through Europe, as well as working as a session musician in Germany.

Milne’s previous work has been described as "gritty electronic punk". His love for synths and electronic music production creates the foundation for the genre transcending melodies, which could be best described as an atmospheric dreamscape.

Milne’s talents are honed daily as professional sound designer, DJ and producer in Sydney's burgeoning electronic scene.

Kingdom is inspired by bands such as The XX, Moby, M83, Chris Cornell, Massive Attack and many film scores.

Kingdom has recently been signed to Berlin’s most exciting Independent Label, Motor Music and their track "The Road" has been toured around the world with some of Germany's hottest DJs in 2016 .

Currently writing their newest EP, Kingdom will be one to watch in the coming year.
